Welcome To The Auction!

lisa-rollins.jpgDenton High Cares was officially incorporated on August 8, 2014. We were formed for the mission of providing financial or other assistance to current and former students, faculty, and staff of Denton High School in times of medical or other crises. We would never have formed, however, had it not been for a group of DHS '83 classmates who got together to try to help our dear friend and classmate, Dr. Lisa L. Rollins, as she bravely fought against cancer and struggled to make ends meet. So we planned a fundraiser for August 23, 2014: a music festival at Dan's Silverleaf in Denton, featuring eight fantastic musical acts (including Lisa's son, Dakoda) as well as a live auction that included items donated from around the United States. We packed the place, we had a great time, we loved on Lisa, and we made her smile.

Our precious friend passed away in November 2014. In her honor, on October 10, 2015, Denton High Cares will present LISAPALOOZA 2!

We are grateful that, just like last year, Dan's Silverleaf in Denton, Texas has agreed to host our event. And just like last year, we will feature GREAT musical acts; specifically:

Dakoda Rollins — Matthew Johnson — The Breast Cancer Can Stick It! Band

Zach Nytomt — The Holler Time — New Voodoo — and Andy Timmons

Doors will open at 1:00 p.m., the show starts at 2:00 p.m., and we will close the place down at midnight!

It's going to be a rocking party, we're going to do a lot of good, and we're going to have a LOT of fun!

Note that this auction will continue at a live event after bidding closes online.  You may be outbid at the live event.

Winning bidders will be contacted after the live event auction to make arrangements for payment and pickup/delivery of their items.

Payment Types Accepted:

  • Online Payment via PayPal (arrangements will be made once the live auction closes)
  • Please do not send a payment until you have been contacted by the auction administrator.

 

Winning Bidder Item Pickup/Delivery:

  • Winning Bidders can pick their items up at the event on August 23, or if the winner is online, we will ship it (shipping costs to be charged to the winner as an additional donation).

General Auction Information

  • The time on this server will be used to determine the start and end times of the auction. This time may be off from your local time. Refer to the approximate time in the right hand side of this page.
  • This auction transitions to a live in-person auction after online bidding closes. You still may be outbid at the live event. The online portion of the auction will not reflect the final live auction results.
  • When the live event auction closes, all winning bidders will receive notification regarding the status of the items they have won.
